SPECTRA COMPRESSOR STATION PROJECT MEETING “CANCELLED”

Rehoboth, MA February 21, 2017: Spectra notified us they are postponing their meeting scheduled with us on the February 27, 2017 indefinitely until they are able to reevaluate and restructure their proposal. This proposal will not move forward until this happens and, therefore, is on hold. They do not wish to meet with us regarding any specific plans and will not move ahead until they have restructured a specific proposal.

The Town of Rehoboth, in conjunction with City of Attleboro, is still communicating with Spectra to be sure we are made aware of when the restructuring is complete, and they plan to move ahead.

Both Attleboro and the Town of Rehoboth will do all that they possibly can to ensure that the concerns of the people are heard, their questions are answered and their safety is protected.
