Thomas “Tom” J. Nolan, age 61, died unexpectedly at home on June 13, 2019. He was born in Providence, a son of the late James H. and Catherine M. (Alker) Nolan.

He was graduated from the RISD Culinary Arts Program in 1978; and worked as a Pastry Chef for many bakeries throughout the state.

Tom is survived by his siblings; Kathleen “Kathy” Nolan of Rumford, John “Jack” M. Nolan of Lincoln, Carole A. Rego and her husband Tony of Rumford, William “Bill” J. Nolan and his wife Deb of N. Attleboro, Patricia “Trish” A. Johnson and her husband Glenn of Rumford, many nieces, nephews and great nephews. Tom was predeceased by his brother James C. Nolan.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, RI. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 am in St. Margaret Church, 1098 Pawtucket Ave., Rumford. Burial will be in Mt. St. Mary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to St. Margaret Church.
