Teen Advisory Board
Thursday, December 7 at 3:30 PM
**Please note: All meetings will start at 3:30 PM from now on. Meetings are for TAB members only. To join, visit seekonkpl.org/teens and download the TAB application. Email the finished application to teens@seekonkpl.org  or turn it in at the Research Help Desk in the Library.

Your opinion matters! If you’re in grade 6 through 12, then you have a chance to make a difference at your library by joining the Teen Advisory Board (TAB). During the school year, we will meet once a month at 3:30 PM to share ideas about upcoming programs and discuss how we can make the most out of the library’s services for tweens and teens. This is an opportunity to practice leadership, collaboration, and civic engagement and to take an active role in shaping the library’s impact on your community. Becoming a member of the board requires a commitment to attend meetings regularly.

Pet Blanket Making Party for Tweens and Teens
Wednesday, December 27 at 2:00 PM
This year, middle and high schoolers are invited to “paw”-ticipate in Seekonk Library’s annual Pet Blanket Project during our special blanket-making party just for tweens and teens. We’ll gather in the library’s meeting room on Wednesday, December 27, at 2:00 PM and work together on this fun and easy no-sew activity. All blankets will be donated to the Seekonk Animal Shelter, which will give them to newly adopted pets to help welcome them to their forever homes.

This 1-hour event is free and open to tweens and teens in grades 6 through 12. Registration is required.

For more information, call Adult Services at the library at (508) 336-8230 or email teens@seekonkpl.org
