Taunton Civic Chorus Holiday Concert 2017

The Taunton Civic Chorus will present its annual holiday concert entitled A Year in the Life on December 3rd at 6:00 p.m. The concert will feature music from every month of the year with familiar holiday songs, pop standards from the 40’s and 50’s, and Broadway show tunes. Selections will include “Winter Wonderland”, “Irish Eyes Are Smiling”, “Stormy Weather”, “June is Bustin’ Out All Over”, “Surfin’ USA”, and a healty dose of traditional Christmas Carols.
The 40 member ensemble will be led by Music Director Eric Brown, and will be accompanied by Carolyn Melesky on the piano and various musical instruments.
The Taunton Civic Chorus is the area’s longest running choral group and has been an important part of the local community since 1959.
The concert will take place at Memorial United Methodist Church, 176 Somerset Avenue, Taunton. Admission to the holiday concert is $12 for Adults, and $10 for Seniors and Children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased at the door on the day of the performance.
