Southcoast Smiles To Host 10th Annual ‘Dentistry From The Heart’ Charity Event

Seekonk- Southcoast Smiles will host its 10th annual Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) event on Saturday, September 30th. The event will take place at Southcoast Smiles office at 185 Highland Avenue, Seekonk, MA from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Registration will begin at 7:30 AM.

Dentistry From the Heart is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing free dental care to those in need. Every year, thousands of induvial dentists, hygienists, volunteers and hundreds of practices donate their time and resources to host their own DFTH event.

The team of dental professionals at Southcoast Smiles along with volunteers will provide dental exams, x-rays, cleaning, fillings, and extractions to patients, you must be 18 years or older, all free of charge. No insurance needed! Appointments are not necessary, but visitors are advised to arrive early to register. The first 200 patients are guaranteed to be seen, but care is provided on a first come, first serve basis.

This is the 10th annual event for Dr. Ahearn, who has donated over $700,000 in dental care to more than 2,000 residents. Our team looks forward to this event all year; because we know there are many people out there who simply can’t afford dental care at this time. Last year we donated over $75,000 of treatment to more than 200 people in need. It’s such a great feeling to be able to give back to our community in this way.
