Selectmen Approve TV for COA

Posted

The Rehoboth Board of Selectmen has approved the purchase of a big screen television for the Council on Aging. The television will be used to provide information for the seniors. “It will have our activities, events, anything of interest, day trips,” explained COA Director Linda Sherman. “It will run every single day.”

The cost is $2600. The money will be drawn from the insurance proceeds the town received after the former COA facility burned down in 2020. The 7200 square foot building at 55 Bay State Road was a total loss and the insurance proceeds were also used to purchase materials and equipment for the new COA at Francis Farm.
