Seekonk 2020 Election

A number of boards and committees have open seats up for grabs for the April 6 town election.

There will be two open 3-year seats on the Board of Selectmen. Chairman David Andrade and Nelson Almeida’s terms are both expiring.

There will be one open 3-year seat on the school committee. Erin Brouillette’s term is expiring.

Other openings include one 3-year term on the board of assessors, two seats on the water commission, one for a 3-year term and the other for a one-year term; and two seats for a three-year term on the library board of trustees.

The Planning Board has two open 5-year seats.

There is also an opening for Town Moderator – three-year term, and for Town Clerk – three year-term.

Nomination papers to run are now available in the town clerk's office.

The deadline to file nomination papers with the town clerk is February 18.
