Rosanne K. Bergeron, “Karen”, 72, of Seekonk, passed away suddenly after a brief illness on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Curahealth Hospital in Stoughton. She was the loving wife of the late Arthur “Kenny” Bergeron of Seekonk for 48 years.

Born Dec. 11, 1944 in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Alfred J. and Josephine (Sleczkowski) Poli.

Rosanne grew up in Pawtucket, and was a 1962 graduate of William E. Tolman Senior High.

For over 25 years, she was the religious education program coordinator at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church in Seekonk, where she was also very active. During her time at OLQM, Rosanne received many honors and accolades. She received the Marion Medal Award, the Discipleship Award, and she also served as a Eucharistic Minister and on the Parish Pastoral Council Committee.

In her spare time, she was a fan of playing bingo and watching the Boston Red Sox. Rosanne also loved taking long drives and getting lost with her husband Arthur. Her most passionate joy was spending time with her family and taking care of all her cherished grandchildren.

Rosanne is survived by her four children: Tami and her husband Randy Romano of Seekonk, Karen J. Bergeron of Seekonk, Arthur Scott Bergeron and his wife Jennifer of Mobile, Ala., and Heather and her husband Brian Morency of Seekonk; eight grandchildren: Alicia, Katelyn, Christopher, Gabrielle, Jordan, Matthew, Cameron and Kayla; two great-grandchildren, Ronan and one on the way, expected in December; three siblings: James Poli of Cumberland, R.I., Paula Brogdon of Cabot, Ark., and Jeanne Blakeslee from Spartanburg, S.C.; also many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents and husband.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, June 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, 20 Peck St., Attleboro.

A funeral will be conducted on Monday, June 26 at 10 a.m. from the Duffy-Poule Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Coyle Drive, Seekonk. Burial will take place at a later date.
