Rhode Island Rose Society Meeting:

“A Look Inside the Hive: The Busy Life of Bees”

The Rhode Island Rose Society will hold its September 15 meeting at the Weaver Library in East Providence at 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The program is free and opened to the public. This meeting will feature Jarred Lynch, owner of Blackstone Bees, who will present a Power Point program “A Look Inside the Hive: The Busy Life of Bees.” Mr. Lynch maintains beehives in various locations throughout Rhode Island and his program will explain the importance of bees, how they live, pollinate flowers and make honey. Following the lecture, American Rose Society Consulting Rosarians will be available to answer questions about growing roses.
