Rehoboth Town Election

There are several seats on town boards and committees which will be up for grabs for the April 7 town election.

The openings include two three-year seats on the board of selectmen. James Muri and Dave Perry’s terms are expiring.

There are two open three-year seats on the Dighton-Rehoboth regional school committee. Anthony Arrigo and Richard Barrett’s terms are expiring.

Other openings include: one three-year seat on the board of assessors, one five-year seat on the housing authority, two three-year seats on the water commission, one five-year seat on the park commission, and one five-year seat on the planning board.

The positions of tax collector and town moderator are also open.

Nomination Papers will be available on Thursday, January 2 for “Non-Caucus Candidates” and are due back to the Board of Registrars, at the Town Clerk’s Office, by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18th with a minimum of 50 “certified” signatures.
