Our 2nd Annual Holiday Wreath Fundraiser will take place on Saturday, November 27, 2021 outside the Blanding Library from 9 AM-2 PM. Beautifully decorated live wreaths, swags, and centerpieces made by our talented members will be for sale. All proceeds will help fund our Scholarship, Civic, and Education Programs. This fundraiser is especially important since we were not able to hold our Annual Plant Sale in May. We hope to see you there!

Gardener’s Tip: Caring for Potted Mums

After bringing home your perfect mum plant, remove its pot and check its root ball. Often you’ll see lots of roots, but very little soil. Repotting it in a bigger container with good soil will keep your mum healthy and it will last much longer. Mums need full sunshine and plenty of water to produce their best blooms. If a frost is predicted overnight, you can protect your mum by covering it with an old sheet or towel. Just remember to uncover it the next morning.
