On the weekend of Oct. 14 & 15 Firefighters Chris Riley Anthony Lizotte and Lt Larrivee Installed new batteries in over 30 homes at the Horton Estates, an over 55 community in Rehoboth. They also installed new Smoke and CO alarms and provided house number signs to many of the residents. Some of the homeowners provided batteries but most were provided free of charge from a grant that Lt Larrivee received. The entire event was arranged by board member Kevin Tierney. The SAFE crew also made visits to students in Rehoboth ranging from preschool to Eighth grade.
