Superintendent Robert Bernardo gave a very informative tour of the Seekonk Water Treatment Plant. The girls of Troop 1322 were shown how the water is screened to remove unhealthy substances and kill bacteria as it is pumped through the system to become purified water for daily use. The girls also talked about how important it is to find ways to conserve this precious resource. Thanks to Mr. Bernardo for taking the time to spend with our troop!
