Maria Adelina Santos Antonio, 82, of Seekonk, went home to Jesus on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at her home. She was the wife of Manuel A. Antonio.

Born in Tagarro, Portugal she was the daughter of the late Manuel J. and Etelvina (Coelho) Timoteo. Mrs. Antonio was a founding member of the Cranston Portuguese Club Ladies Auxiliary.

Besides her husband she leaves three children, Manuel S. Antonio, Anna-Maria Nyzio and her husband Brian and Daniel S. Antonio and his wife Anne, one sister, Ethelvina Ricci, one brother, Manuel D. Timoteo and her six precious grandchildren, Lena, Brianna, Sage, Timi, Angelina and Joseph. She was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was the grandmother of the late Jacob Nyzio and sister of the late Liberto and Gertrude.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the PERRY-McSTAY FUNERAL HOME, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence. Burial will be in Seekonk Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 PM.
