Newton, MA -- Five different Lasell University Lasers scored in their victory over the Elms College Blazers, 5-0, Saturday at Taylor Field.

The win improves the Lasers to 7-3 overall and 7-1 in the GNAC while the loss drops Elms to 7-5-1 overall and 6-4 in the GNAC.

The Lasers got the scoring started in the 19th minute when junior Bobbi O'Guin (Newton, Mass.) dribbled around two defenders and down the end line before making a centering pass to senior Serena Speight (Biddeford, Maine) who drilled home the opener.

Four minutes later following a corner, junior Alexys Suojanen (Windsor Locks, Conn.) sent a corner towards the back post finding the head of Speight who fed junior Alex Lorenzo (Pawtucket, R.I.) for the goal.

Five minutes before halftime freshman Michelina D'Agostino (Longmedow, Mass.) found the ball at her feet with a wide-open net after the ball pinballed around the Elms back line and goalie, which she calmly put into the open net to extend the lead to three.

Freshman Alyssa DeOliveira (East Providence, R.I.) added another goal to her team leading tally when she ran onto a ball over the top by graduate student Narissa Libby (Gorham, Maine) and put it past a diving keeper into the left corner.

Lasell finished the scoring in the 74th minute after a long ball over the top by graduate student Erin Petrocelli (Hanover, Mass.) found freshman Priscilla Martinelli (Plymouth, Mass) who took a few dribbles and put it past the diving goalie.
Senior goalie Angela Sanzari (North Haven, Conn.) made two saves and picked up her third win of the year.
