Households Served by Doorways Tops 100 for 2023-2024

Doorways Food Pantry recently filed their annual report with the Greater Boston Food Bank, which recorded that 113 local households were served by the food pantry in the twelve months ending in June 2024. These households made a total of 2,510 shopping visits over the course of the year, and include 250 individuals, including 74 children. The food pantry provides these families with fresh produce, eggs, cheese, meat, and bread as well as non-perishable foodstuffs, and it is an important component in balancing the household budgets in a time of rising prices.
