“Grab & Go” Meal Plan Beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020 ay Dighton-Rehoboth Schools

Dear Dighton-Rehoboth Families,

Thanks to the collective efforts of the Dighton-Rehoboth Schools & Whitsons Food Services, we are happy to inform you that beginning Tuesday, March 24, 2020 a “Grab & Go” meal plan will be available to all students of our district. The Dighton-Rehoboth Schools will provide “Grab and Go” meals during our district closure to any school-age child in need of breakfast and/or lunch. Each boxed “Grab and Go” meal contains (1) lunch and (1) breakfast for the next morning.

After Tuesday, March 24th, meals can be picked up Monday through Friday each week in which our schools are closed, from 10 am to 12 pm curbside at the Main Entrance of the Dighton Rehoboth Regional High School, 2700 Regional Road. All meals are free and you may stop by anytime during the service hours.

Please be assured that we will take every precaution to ensure the safety of our staff, students, and their families by following social distancing practices at the pickup location. If you or your child are feeling ill, we respectfully request that you refrain from attending this meal service opportunity. Please note that due to the nature of the meal service and product availability from our vendors, we will not always be able to accommodate allergies and parents/guardians are asked to please assume that responsibility.

The District extends our appreciation to the Towns of Dighton and Rehoboth Food Pantries for supporting our families this week as we organize our meal program for our students.
