Friends of Library Sponsor a Free Book Booth at August Block Party

The Friends of the East Providence Public Library will participate in the final Summer Block Party held on the grounds of Weaver Library, 41 Grove Avenue, East Providence. The Block Party will be held on Monday, August 19 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

To thank the community for their continuing support of their semi-annual book sales, members of the Friends will offer a variety of free books and jig saw puzzles. Adult selections include novels and non-fiction books. Children’s picture books, early readers and young adult books will also be available at no charge.

Stop by the Friends of the Library booth to take a chance on free drawings for children’s prizes. Lucky winners will take home gift cards to Seekonk Grand Prix, free passes to Sky Zone trampoline park, and gift cards for ice cream and candy.
