Practice

Even though Allen Iverson may not agree, practice is important. Through our lesson planning, instruction, data, CPT and most importantly the day to day teaching and learning we will prepare OUR KIDS for the standards they will be assessed on during the year and on state testing. There is no difference. We will prepare OUR KIDS with many learning opportunities, and we will leave no stone unturned! Over the next few months, we will continue to practice and give OUR KIDS extra reps and practice through standards based tasks in multiple contents and emphasizing use of vocabulary. This will be a collaborative effort and all we need is everything you’ve got. Continue to talk with OUR KIDS about what we are doing and why it is important. Ask them what motivates them and where they want to be. Let them know they are going to work hard and practice hard, so we will be the most prepared kids in the city. Let them know you’ve got their back on this journey and you know I’ve got yours. Let’s keep both feet on the gas.
