Everyday Life In 17th-Century New England

Posted

(Rehoboth, MA) – John McNiff, Park Ranger at the Roger Williams National Memorial, will explore what everyday life was like for the English colonists who came to New England in the 17th century, including the founders of Rehoboth. Why did they choose to come here? Where did they get their food? Their tools and clothes? What hardships did they face? You may be surprised to discover that 17th-century colonists had many of the same cares and worries of people today.
