EP Elementary Kid's Rock Chorus A Hit! 6th Annual Concert Dazzles Overflow Crowd.
Posted
The 6th Annual Ep Kid's Rock Chorus concert was held last night, June 8th, at East Providence High School. The 1200 seat auditorium was filled to capacity by showtime and the crowd wasn't disappointed as the famous chorus sang and gyrated to everything from the Beatles 'Hello Goodbye' to David Bowie's 'Starman' to Neil Young's 'Rockin in the Free World'.
Other classics performed were from the Rolling Stones, Lou Reed, Elvis Presley and many more.
School Committeeman Nathan Cahoon was the emcee for the evening and introduced each number with a brief history of the selections.
Watch the EP Reporter for a more in-depth story on this wildly popular and successful elementary school choir, once on the chopping block.
