Columbiettes # 3623 - Support Project Gabriel

Posted

For Immediate Release

The Columbiettes #3623 are proud supporters of the Gabriel Project and on Tuesday, June 12th the Columbiettes came together to have a Mock Baby Shower and collected much needed baby toiletries, food and diapers that will help the Gabriel Project provide items to new mother’s. The Gabriel Project is a wonderful program supported by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Providence that can recruit and train volunteers at a parish level, to work with women and families facing problem pregnancies, delivering a message of hope and support. The Project Gabriel message is a profound commitment, not only to the unborn, but also to their mothers. This wonderful project can be found at different locations throughout our state to find out more information about this group, to schedule an appointment and for a list of parish-based Gabriel satellites and diocesan Social Service Outreach Centers, call 421-7833, x 218.

This is just one of the many wonderful programs that the Columbiettes support and help through their charitable works throughout the Columbian year. Every little bit helps those in need and our order is proud to provide a little help throughout our community.

To help familiarize yourself with our order please note that we are the Columbiettes and we are a unified body of Catholic women who work side -by-side with the Knights of Columbus and together share spiritual, moral, educational and social benefits that promote faith, hope and charity. We wish to invite all interested Catholic woman from the age 18 and up to contact us for more information about our group. If you are looking for a way to put your faith in action we welcome you to join us.
