WHY: Message from Director Yarn: “The RI Office of Veterans Affairs' commitment to serving veterans and their families must be unwavering. The State of Rhode Island will always be indebted to our veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice, but for my office to be a success, we need your help to define the problem and find solutions. Moreover, we need your help to strengthen our partnerships locally, regionally, and throughout the state. That's why I have launched the “I Hear You” outreach initiative so we can have an active presence in all 39 municipalities. We'll be meeting with veterans in each city and town to discuss your concerns and learn about the resources available to you. Please join us so I can hear your voice! "
