Charles ¨Charlie¨ H. Boudreau, 92, of East Providence and Pinnellis Park, FL, passed away on July 24, 2023 surrounded by his loving children. He was the beloved husband of Maryellen (Dean) Boudreau and the late Victoria Ann (Harding) Boudreau.

Born in Providence, Charlie was the son of the late John and Eva Boudreau.

Charlie was employed by the Department of Education, School Food Services, retiring in 1994 after 18 ½ years working with federal programs. He also worked for various markets for 14 ½ years as a department manager. In the 1950’s to 1960, Charlie was a D.J. for WLOV FM 99.9 and was known as “Charlie B”. In 1967 he was the President of the Central Falls CB Minutemen.

Charlie was the President of the Rhode Island Budgerigar Society. He bred Parakeets for over 20 years and wrote a monthly newsletter for the Society. Charlie also served 6 years as the President of the Social Club of the Mainlands, Unit 5, in Pinnellis Park, Florida. He loved music, playing the organ and singing, painting, golf and bowling. The thing that Charlie loved to do the most was to make his famous clam chowder for the annual “Boudreau” Family Reunion.

Father of Charles Boudreau (Linda) of Smithfield, Jean Edwards (Mike) of Rehoboth, Debra Jodoin (Arthur) of Cranston and Ann Easterbrooks (Dave) of Cranston. Brother of Bertha McNulty, Shirley Bergeron, Dorothy Corcoran, and the late John Boudreau and the late Isabelle Fiore. Grandfather of Chuckie, Scott, Jennifer, Tara, Bethany, Dawn, Darren, Jason and Eric and Great Grandfather of Brianna, Brandon, Noah, Mary-Katherine, Johnny, Bella, Fallon,Victoria, McKenna, Brooklyn and Brooke. Charlie was predeceased by his twin Great Grandchildren, Gavin and Gabriella.

Visitation Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, in the Russell J. Boyle and Son Funeral Home, 331 Smith St, Providence. Funeral Saturday at 8:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Drive, Cranston. Burial to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.
