To Whom It May Concern,

The Child Find process requires the Dighton Rehoboth Regional School District to identify, locate and evaluate all children with disabilities residing in its jurisdiction. This obligation includes all students who attend private (including religious) schools, students who are homeless, students who are wards of the State, and students with suspected disabilities that are advancing in grade level. (20 USC 1412 (a)(3)(A), 20 USC 1412 (a)(10)(A)(ii)(I),34 CFR 300.11, 34 CFR300.131, 34 CFR 300.111 (c)(2), 34 CFR 300.101(c), 30 EC 56301 MA 603 CMR 28.00)

Thus, should there be any academic/emotional concerns regarding the progress of any students who attend your school and reside in the town of Dighton or Rehoboth, please have the parent/guardian contact me directly. At that time, I can speak with him/her about their concerns and the special education process.
