The Attleboro Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution invites you to support their annual Patriots’ Day Dinner which is being held on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. at Bella Sarno Ristorante, 553 Kelley Boulevard in North Attleboro. This event will include dinner, raffles, a silent auction and entertainment. The evening’s special program, ‘The Not-So-Good Life of the Colonial Goodwife’ will be presented by Velya Jancz-Urban, a teacher, author and expert on New England’s colonial women.

Proceeds from this event support the Chapter’s scholarship programs which include Good Citizen awards for high school students from Attleboro, Bishop Feehan, King Philip, North Attleboro and Seekonk; two high school scholarships, and an Outstanding History Teacher award. Donations support aid to our local veterans and preservation of the historic Peck House, circa 1723, one of the oldest buildings in Attleboro.

The DAR is asking for the community’s involvement in this fundraising endeavor. Tickets for the dinner are $45.00 per person. Donations are welcome. Please make checks payable to Attleboro DAR and mail to Jill Mathieu, 182 North Worcester Street, Norton, MA 02766 by April 18th, or call 508-241-0933 for
more information.
