Anthony Celio completes Eagle Scout Project

My name is Anthony Celio and I am a Life Scout with BSA Troop 303 in Swansea Mass. I am excited to announce that I just completed my Eagle Scout Project, a 20 ft floating dock with a kayak/canoe launch on Milford Pond. Access to the launch can be found on Milford Road in Swansea behind Target. My motivation for this project was to provide Swansea residents a safe and convenient place to enjoy being on the water. This was made possible thanks to the support provided by the Swansea Board of Selectmen, especially Chris Carreiro, Bill Anderson, Director of the Highway Department/Public Works, Conservation Agent Colleen Brown, Town Administrator Mallory Aronstein, and most of all, the town residents who voted to fund this project. I hope the townspeople enjoy this for many years to come.
