Anna (Amoral) Ribeiro, 91, of Chestnut St., Rehoboth, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, May 16, 2017 at the Grace Barker Nursing Center. She was the wife of the late Alfred Ribeiro.

Born June 17, 1925, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Bettencourt) Amoral.

Anna attended the Johnson and Wales School, now Johnson and Wales University, and was a student of Miss Johnson and Miss Wales, its founders. She did cost accounting at Texas Instruments where she worked for 40 years. She loved playing the piano and the organ, being active at the Rehoboth Senior Center and playing Hi Lo Jack.

She leaves her daughters, Kathryn (Manuel) Reposa of Rehoboth and Susan (the late Warren) Ferreira of Warren; 4 grandchildren, Sharon, Stacy, Matthew and Marc; 5 great grandchildren, Ryan, Alex, Mya, Mikayla, and Leo.

She was also the sister of John B. Amoral of New Jersey, Raymond M. Amoral of Rehoboth, and the late William B. Amoral.

Her funeral will begin Friday, May 19, at 10am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Taunton Ave., Seekonk. Burial will follow at the Rehoboth Village Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, 5pm until 8pm.
