Sheila (Connor) Khan

Sheila (Connor) Khan, 81, of Seekonk, MA, passed away on February 10, 2017, surrounded by her loving sons, Edward, Alam, Saleem, and Kamran. She was for nearly 52 years the devoted wife of the late Dr. Mohammad A. Khan. Besides her beloved four boys, she leaves behind two daughters in law, Meredith Khan of Lancaster, MA, and Erin Khan of Seekonk, MA; five grandchildren, Alayna and Silas Khan of Lancaster, MA; and Madison, Quentin, and Chace Khan of Seekonk, MA; and countless friends. Sheila was predeceased by her sister, Edith, of Liverpool, England.

Raised in Tow Law, County Durham, Sheila immigrated from England in the early 1960s during a nursing shortage in America. While working at a Boston area hospital she met her future husband who was "moonlighting" at the same hospital during his residency. Depending on whose story you believe, they were married either 2 weeks or 1 year later. When the first of the four boys was born, Sheila stayed home to raise her family in a most loving household. She was arguably still raising them some 50 years later. Her love and support will be missed by many friends but certainly most by her adoring boys.

A private burial was held at the Seekonk Town Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local animal shelter.
