Seekonk Has a New Police Chief

Captain Frank John was installed as the new Police Chief in Seekonk in a ceremony on Sunday, Sept. 9 at the Ramada Banquet and Conference Center on Taunton Ave. John is a 31-year veteran of the Seekonk Police Department. He was sworn in by Town Clerk Florice Craig. Police Chief Craig Mace retired on Sept. 7 after 33 years with the department. The Board of Selectmen named John as Mace's replacement.
