Guilhermina Ferreira, 89, formerly of Seekonk, passed away Sunday February 26, 2017, at the Cortland Place in Greenville. She was the wife of the late Manuel Ferreira, to whom she was married for 66 years. Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Francisco and Guilhermina (Candeias) Souza. Mrs. Ferreira was an Inspector for Texas Instruments before retiring. She leaves two daughters, Christine Mello and her husband Robert of Baltimore and Paula Fratelli and her husband Edward of Smithfield, one sister, Dolores DePetrillo, two grandchildren, Melissa and Steven Fratelli and one great grandson, Zachary Cihat. She was the sister of the late Frank Souza, Margaret Vieira, Mary Pestana and Irene Lagor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM in Saint Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue.
