Doctoring Words: A Conversation with Physician/Authors Offers Tips on How to Write for Publication

Posted

Two local physicians will speak about expanding their medical careers to become published authors in a conversation entitled Doctoring Words at Mount Hope Farm on Thursday, April 20th at 6 pm. Enjoy cocktails and small bites before the lecture.

Family practice physician Michael Fine, MD, and Edward Iannuccilli, MD, a retired gastroenterologist, will share their stories on going beyond their successful medical careers to become published authors of memoirs, fiction and nonfiction. The lively and educational conversation, moderated by Dante Bellini, Jr., the director of the award-winning film Ken Burns: Here & There, will be packed with tips on how you, too, can write your story and get it in print.

For event details and to register, visit www.mounthopefarm.org/upcoming-events/doctoring-words.  Admission is $15 for Mount Hope Farm members and $20 for nonmembers and $10 for students with a valid school ID. Copies of the speakers books will be on sale at the event.
