Alert EP Police Work Brings Drug Arrest. $45,000 Street Value Confiscated.

Alert police work after a traffic stop in Riverside on Friday night, October 27, led to the apprehension and arrest of three suspects charged with serious narcotics trafficking.
At approximately 10:00PM, Officer Franklin Britto conducted a motor vehicle stop on Bullocks Point Avenue, in the vicinity of Shore Road due to a moving and equipment violation. The vehicle, a red Toyota registered in New York City, was occupied by three males. During Officer Britto’s investigation, cause was developed to conduct a search of the vehicle.
As a result of the investigation the following was located and seized from the vehicle:
• 705 grams of cocaine
• 1018 Ecstasy tablets
• 1.79 grams of marijuana
The following individuals were arrested:
• Jason S. Kahian, age 29, from Middleborough, MA. Kahian is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver 1 ounce - 1 kilogram of Cocaine and Possession with Intent to Deliver Ecstasy
• Rafael A. Guerrero, age 26, from the Bronx, NY. Guerrero is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver 1 ounce - 1 kilogram of Cocaine
• Daniel P. Merete, age 29, from the Bronx, NY. Merete is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver 1 ounce - 1 kilogram of Cocaine
The street value of the seized narcotics is approximately $45,000
