It is important to give thanks to East Coast Screen Printing and Chip Calverley for the beautiful Future Home sign that has been on the site for some time as well as the tee shirts that are for sale. Also it is great to have Joe Velardo on board to oversee the project and keep everyone updated. Without his talent a feeling of loss and delay would have continued to linger.

Friends of the Seekonk Veterans Memorial Park will be hosting an even the week of Veterans Day on November 13th and it is expected to be a great time with dinner provided by Young’s Catering and raffles to be won including a 50/50 raffle.

Please stay connected through the newly created web site www.seekonkvetsmemorial.org and connect on Face Book as well. Friends of the Seekonk Veterans Memorial Park will continue its effort to provide brick forms for those interested in enshrining the name or names of Veterans from all over as well as collecting donations for the project. Please know that any donation large or small is important to reach our goal.

“Friends” can be reached on Facebook, the website or by writing to P.O. Box 366, Seekonk, MA 02771.
