Jacob J. Belt, of Seekonk Promoted to Senior National Vice President of Freedom Equity Group

Jacob J. Belt, of Seekonk, has been promoted to senior national vice president of Freedom Equity Group, a national financial services company.
Belt joined Freedom Equity Group in 2014 as vice president and has leap-frogged four positions to achieve the national office in his first year.

Belt ran a Sandler sales training franchise in Providence and Warwick for 13 years and previously was a partner in Gregory, Cooney and Belt, Inc., an advertising agency in Providence. He has some 30 years of experience in several areas of business, including advertising, marketing, public relations and sales.

He has worked with businesses ranging from sole proprietors to Fortune 100 companies, has served on numerous non-profit boards and been active in a number of business organizations. He holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from St. Michael's College, in Winooski, Vt.
