Brian Salit Selected as One of Massachusetts’s Top High School Youth Volunteers

We were notified this week that senior Brian Salit has been selected as one of Massachusetts’s top High School youth volunteers in the 2015 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards. He will be in Washington, D.C., from May 2-5, 2015, along with the other 101 State Honorees. At that time he will receive $1,000, and be considered for one of 10 national awards.

In addition, based on the number of volunteer hours he completed, he has qualified for the President’s Volunteer Service Award which recognizes Americans of all ages who have volunteered significant amounts of their time to serve their communities and country. He will be receiving a certificate and a letter from President Barack Obama.

Brian continues to make our community and school proud of his many accomplishments.
