Walter G. LaRosee

Walter G. LaRosee, 77, of Seekonk, passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019. He was the beloved husband of Nanette (Charbonneau) LaRosee. Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Walter C. and Gertrude (Gladman) LaRosee.

Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Jennifer LaRosee of Connecticut and Kristen Foley of North Carolina; his step-son Michael Depatie of Florida and step-daughter Kristen Truax of New Hampshire; four grandchildren, Tanner, Conner, Garrett, and Easton; two brothers, Francis and Bernard LaRosee of Washington State; three sisters, Judith McCarron of Norton, Linda Clegg of Berkley, and Deborah Foster of Attleboro, Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late James LaRosee, Jacqueline Richardson, and nephew of the late Axie LaRosee.

Walter served in the Air Force as a medic during the Vietnam War. Upon discharge he attended Dartmouth College in New Hampshire graduating as a Physician Assistant. He was employed at the Miriam Hospital Cardiac Surgery Department until his retirement in 2010. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, playing his guitar, billiards, woodworking and listening to music.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at the Costigan-O’Neill Funeral Home from 9am-11am on Saturday, March 23rd located at 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, RI Burial will immediately follow at the Seekonk Dexter Avenue Cemetery.
