A Song for Seekonk

Since I’m in a fussy, Trump-like mood this morning, I’m just going to make a new declaration, now.

“I Forgot To Remember To Forget Her,” as sung by John Prine and Mac Wiseman is the new Unofficial Town Song for Seekonk.

If you’re offended by this, you probably don’t have much of a sense of humor, or, dare I say, you’ve forgotten what unofficial means. That’s alright.

Here’s why I’ve made this declaration at this particular time : I’ve never experienced a more graceless, stupid Age than the one I’m living with now, so, how much damage can this additional observation do.

I figure that a little good country music, folkish with wisdom, meaning, and humor might help, like a soothing salve.

Most of you have stopped reading by now. A couple of you might get out your phones and listen to that tune. If you do, “Hello.”
