Selectmen Andrade and Petronio Seek Re-Election

David Andrade and Adam Petronio are both seeking to be re-elected to the Seekonk Board of Selectmen. The terms are for three years each.

Former selectwoman Michelle Hines and newcomer Pam Pozzi have also taken out papers for the two open seats.

The town election will be held April 3.

The Town Moderator and Town Clerk positions are also open. Incumbents Peter Hoogerzeil and Florice Craig are also seeking re-election.

Kyle Juckett and Bernard Luger have taken out papers to run for one three year seat on the School Committee.

Former Town Clerk Jan Parker is running against incumbent Ed McGovern for an open three year seat on the Board of Assessors.

In addition, there are:

  • two three year seats on the Library Board of Trustees
  • one five year seat on the Housing Authority
  • one five year seat on the Planning Board
  • one three year seat on the Water Commission

Nomination papers for offices are available in the Town Clerk’s office. Deadline to submit nomination papers to the Town Clerk is Tuesday, February 14 at 5 PM.
