Richard A. “Dick” Vermette
Richard A. “Dick” Vermette, 73, of Seekonk, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 1, 2017. He was the husband of Ellen L. (Coffey) Vermette.
Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Joseph T. and Elizabeth M. (Warner) Vermette.
Besides his wife, he leaves one son, Bryan D. Vermette and his wife Carolyn of Alaska; one daughter, Janet Anne Vermette of Florida; two grandchildren, Charlie and Mason; one brother, Charles Vermette of Bristol and one sister, Elizabeth Reynolds and her husband Brian of Canada.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9, at 9 a.m., from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Ave., East Providence, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Taunton Avenue, Seekonk. Burial will be in Seekonk Cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday, from 4 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the St. Vincent dePaul Society at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church would be appreciated.
