Olive M. Tameo

Olive M. Tameo, 88, of Seekonk, passed away Monday June 25, 2018. She was the wife of John J. Tameo, Sr., to whom she was married for 64 years. Born in East Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Sadie (George) Hawksley. Mrs. Tameo was an office manager for Dairy Mart before retiring. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed cooking for her family. Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Karen Burns and her husband Edward of Plymouth, MA and Robin Bruzzi and her husband Paul of Dalton, MA, one son, John Tameo, Jr., and his wife Jerilyn of Seekonk, one sister, Alice Poole, six grandchildren two step grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Mildred Brescia, Walter Hawksley, Pearl Sorafine and Joseph Hawksley, Jr. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Taunton Avenue, Seekonk.
