Mildred “Ann” (Maguire) St. Laurent

Mildred “Ann” (Maguire) St. Laurent, 83, a 62-year resident of Seekonk, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 with family by her side. She was the wife of the late Edmond J. St. Laurent, Jr. for 60 years.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Donald L. and Anna Catherine (Erickson) Maguire. Ann worked for many years as the secretary for her family business until retiring and was a long-time Cub Scout den mother. Together with her husband, Ann enjoyed watching her children raise and show quarter horses. Ann also enjoyed completing crossword puzzles, going on cruises, traveling and spending time at her home in Maine with family and friends.

Above all, she was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and dear friend. Ann leaves a son, Edmond J. St. Laurent, III and his wife, Julie, of Seekonk; three daughters, Sharon A. Fisk and her husband, James, Susan J. Lockwood and her husband, Mark, and Lisa M. Hopkins and her husband, John, all of Seekonk; seven grandchildren, Steven Fisk, Sarah Pelletier, Matthew Lockwood, Emma and Heidi St. Laurent, Jacob and Abigail Hopkins; a 1-month-old great-granddaughter, whom Mrs. St. Laurent was able to meet and hold, Juliana Laurent Pelletier; three siblings, Harold Maguire, Donna Petrarca and Janice Johnston and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother of the late Steven M. St. Laurent and the sister of the late Judith O’Rourke, Kenneth and Donald Maguire.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 8 a.m. from William W. Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Parish, Coyle Dr., Seekonk.

Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Visitation will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 220 North Main St., Natick, MA 01760 will be appreciated. trippfuneralhome.com
