Kenneth D. Tait, Sr., 71, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Deborah E. (Hall) Tait for forty-nine years. Born in Attleboro, a son of the late Louis L. Rioux and Ruth E. (Pearson) Jackson, he resided in Providence before moving to Seekonk thirty-six years ago. Ken had been a truck driver for Middlesex Trucking. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary; St. John’s Lodge No. 1 Providence; The Shriners; Camel Herders; Hillbillies; Ocean State 4X4 Club and the Warwick Citizens Volunteer Association. Besides his wife, he leaves three children, Christina R. Rec and her husband, Brian, of Idaho, Kenneth D. Tait, II and his wife, Carla, of Attleboro and Kathleen E. Tait of Seekonk; a sister, Rosemond Hewitt of Florida; five grandchildren, Zachary Rec, Marissa Rec, Jonathan Rec, Adam Tait and Jillian Tait; a great-grandson, Zachary Nicholas Rec and several nieces and nephews. He was the grandfather of the late Ian Tait and Nicholas Rec. Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at William W. Tripp Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Seekonk Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104 would be appreciated. www.Trippfuneralhome.com
