Joseph C. Braga
Joseph C. Braga, 79, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Phyllis H. (Matonis) Braga.
Born in Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel, Azores, he was a son of the late Manuel and Antonia (Carvalho) DeBraga.
He lived in Seekonk for the past six years and was formerly of Pawtucket and North Attleboro.
Before retiring, Joe was employed in the sales department of the former American Insulated Wire & Cable Co. of Pawtucket for 48 years.
Mr. Braga is survived by his loving family, two daughters, Susan C. Potter of Lincoln and Katherine S. Karalis and her husband Paul of Seekonk; and two sons, Michael J. Braga and his wife Loraine of Pawtucket and Stanley A. Braga and his wife Jodi-Lee of Lincoln. He also leaves 10 devoted grandchildren and six cherished great-grandchildren, one sister Mary Gula of Gaston, N.C., nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Monday, Jan. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Karol A. Romenski & Sons Funeral Home, 342 High St., Central Falls, with a prayer service in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
Burial will be private.
