James G. Dewey, 61, passed away peacefully March 21, 2017. He was the husband of Michele A. (Bokowsky) Dewey, to whom he was married for 39 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Gordon W. Dewey and Lorraine Decker. Mr. Dewey was a school bus driver for the Town of Seekonk, which brought great joy to his life. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sisters, Betsy Frey of Riverside and Janet Ryan of Somerset, beloved goddaughter Jaclyn Bokowsky and godson Tyler Rego. He was the brother of the late Robert Dewey. His funeral and visitation will be held on Friday from 9:00 AM-10:30 AM, in the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Taunton Avenue, Seekonk.
