George T. Perry, 73, of Anthony Street passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Roger Williams Hospital. He was the husband of Donna (Arsenault) Perry. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Christy and Clara (Enos) Perry. George was a truck driver for Stop & Shop before he retired. Prior to Stop & Shop he also drove for Getty Petroleum, Branch Motor Express, Gulf Oil Company and C. White Oil Company. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 251 and Local 25. Besides his wife he leaves three daughters, Gail L. Motta, Samantha D’Antuono and Toni-Ann Irish, two sisters, Helen Lewis and Mary Jane Campbell, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was the brother of the late John Perry and Christy Perry. His funeral will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 9:00 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Taunton Avenue, Seekonk. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 4-8. In lieu of flowers contributions to St. Judes Childrens Hospital would be appreciated.
