First Performance for Coastline's Newest Singers

Posted

Coastline Show Chorus welcomed three new singers at their first performance at a recent concert. These newest members plan to be on stage in St Louis next October as Coastline represents the Northeast at the Sweet Adelines International Competition.

Coastline Show Chorus is an award winning a cappella, four-part harmony women’s choir. As members of Sweet Adelines International, Coastline has gained an international reputation for exciting, high-energy performances. Receiving first place medals at the regional competition in May 2017 qualified the chorus to compete in the October 2018 Sweet Adelines International Competition in St Louis, Missouri.

While most of its singers hail from Rhode Island, Central/Southeast Massachusetts, members come from all over the Northeast. The chorus welcomes new members throughout the year and every rehearsal is open to guests. No prior choral experience is necessary – only a love of singing.

Coastline invites all area women, ages 16 to 60+ to visit a Wednesday evening rehearsal at the LaSalette Shrine in Attleboro, MA. Information about Coastline Show Chorus rehearsals can be found at the Coastline website: www.CoastlineShowChorus.org.

Sweet Adelines International, created in 1945, is a highly respected worldwide organization of women singers committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony through education, competition and performance. More information is available at https://SweetAdelines.com.
