Edward ‘Ted’ S. Squier, 77, of Seekonk, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, March 22, 2019. He was the devoted husband of Marilyn A. (Calise) Squier to whom he was married for 52 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Dr. Edward R. and Ruth C. (Lennon) Squier. Mr. Squier was a Claims Manager for Commercial Union Insurance Company for 32 years before retiring. He served in the Army Reserves for six years during the Vietnam War. Besides his wife he leaves three daughters, Kim A. Millette and her husband Jeffrey of Seekonk, Rebecca Squier DiPippo of Seekonk and Christina M. Gordon and her husband Thomas of Rehoboth, seven grandchildren, Charlotte R. Millette, Jey S. Millette, Mia E. DiPippo, Zoe A. DiPippo, Thomas C. Gordon, Jillian M. Gordon and Henry E. Gordon, one sister, Sue A. Fay of Mendon, MA and his loyal canine companion, Brady. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Taunton Avenue, Seekonk. Burial will be private.
