Delia M. (Soares) Botelho, 74, of Seekonk, formerly Orchard St., East Providence, passed away with her family at her side, Wednesday night, May 16, 2018 at RI Hospital. She was the wife of the late Joao C. Botelho and the mother of the late Robert C. Botelho.

Born Aug. 4, 1943, in Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Francisco Soares and Maria Jose (Paiva) Soares.

She leaves 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Luisa and Ric Botelho of Seekonk, Sandra and James Medeiros of East Providence, and Joanne and Rui Custodio of Seekonk; and 6 grandchildren, Shawn, Brandon, Nicholas, Eric, Sophia and Lucas. She was also the sister of Margarida Leite, Antonio Soares, and Noemia Botelho all of East Providence, Mario Soares of Pawtucket and Joe Soares of Tampa, FL.

Her funeral will begin Saturday, May 19, at 8am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in St. Francis Xavier Church, No. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, from 5pm until 8pm.
