Covid-19 Cases Rising in Seekonk, Rehoboth

Seekonk and Rehoboth are continuing to see an increase in positive Covid-19 cases. According to data released by the Massachusetts Department of Health, for the two week testing period which concluded on November 11, Seekonk reported 68 new cases for a total case count of 252. The rate per 100,000 people was 31.1. The daily positivity rate is 6.11 percent.

Seekonk has been given the designation of red, which is reserved for cities and towns with the highest average of new infections.

Rehoboth, which has been designated as yellow, reported 43 new cases for a total of 153. The rate per 100,000 people was 23.6. The daily positivity rate is 4.90 percent.

Other red communities include Fall River, with 931 new cases and a daily positivity rate of 8.88 percent; New Bedford, with 506 new cases and a daily positivity rate of 6.17 percent; and Swansea, with 90 new cases and a daily positivity rate of 5.29 percent.
